Why doesn't the inhaler work?

I was prescribed an inhaler about a week ago, and it doesn't seem to be helping with my breathing problems.  It feels good and works for about a few seconds after using it then it doesn't make a difference at all.  And the other day it actually made my symptoms A LOT worse (I could barley breath for the whole evening and felt pressure).  Is there a reason for all of this or should I just switch brands?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello and hope you are doing well.

Your medication may not be adequate to control your symptoms. So, please consult your doctor to change the dosage or the medication. Lung function tests could further help to assess the status.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

A lot of people have complained about the inhalers since they changed the ingriedients because of environmental factors, what a joke, there was Absolutely NO need to do that, there reasoning makes no sence at all!

Why Was Albuterol Changed From a CFC to an HFA Propellant?
Hydrofluoroalkane, or HFA, inhalers use a different form of propellant compared to the older CFC (chlorofluorocarbon) inhalers. CFCs have been found to damage the ozone layer and cause other environmental problems.
