PULOMNARY HYPERTENSION

I have rasping breath.I have to take deep breath for more air to breathe.When i eat then again hearts start pounding and breathing again becomes difficult.

When i walk through some stairs then again heavy breathing starts.

I am a non smoker.I had a risk of STD'S.Can they be the cause of it.

I also recently took homeopathic medicine for cough treatment.Can homeopathic treatment cause any allergy or abrupt immune reaction or autoimmune disease.

I am also having clogged ears feeling ,conjunctivitis and pain in knees.

Please help!!

Doctor i have normal blood pressure.

ECG came normal.

PFT came normal.

IF these come normal then what can be the possible causes?

You have provided good information about your condition but I can’t tell if you have been diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension or PH (evidence of which may or may not be obvious on a routine Chest X-ray).  “Heavy breathing” and a “pounding heart” could be caused by heart or lung disease (including PH) but can also be caused by Anxiety.  On the other hand, the symptoms of rapid pulse, cough, and shortness of breath, with minimal exertion, would all be consistent with the diagnosis of PH. None of these would be directly attributable to a STD.

The manufacture, release and monitoring of “homeopathic medication” is not well controlled and these may well contain substances that could be allergic and/or cause any of the symptoms you experience.

These symptoms are serious enough so as to require formal medical evaluation and, therefore, I suggest that you seek conventional medical care, to establish the cause and appropriate treatment.  Given your multiplicity of symptoms, there are just too many possible causes for me to speculate on what is going on.
