always short if breath

I've been struggling with constant SOB for the past 2-3months so good days and some bad ( more bad than good)!  I have had a chest CT that was negative and PFT's that appear to be normal; I'm having them repeated again tomorrow.  I constantly feel like I can't catch my breath. My Dr. Says its anxiety and put me on klonopin and still no change.  I'm very mellow and fell like there is no way its anxiety. I feel like that's just a diagnosis to use when they can't figure out what's wrong!  I can't handle this much longer I am a very active 28yr old and this is ruining my life lately.  Any suggestions anyone can offer would be appreciated! What else can cause such constant SOB???? Thanks for any insight!

Missy

Have the docs checked out your heart as well? Perhaps he could order an echocardiogram to get a better look at how your heart is functioning and go from there. I hope that this helps...Sunny
