chest and stomach

a few months back I noticed a weeze so I went to the doctor. For some reason I had a lot of mucus.  They told me it could be due to mold exposure and diagnosed me with cronic asthma. Sent on my way I experienced severe fatigue, nausea, stomach cramps, dark stool and loss of my voice.  It went away for a short period along with the ear infections and other infections however now kits back and worse then before.  Sometime my stomach and surrounding area is sore to the touch and my voice has been gone for over two weeks now not to mention the pain.  Please help.  Ive had several labs, catscan, stool testing all which came back normal a few times.  Did I mention I hate needles!!!

For a year now, I have been having severe nausea and vomiting, along with all over body pain and freuent falling. I also have recurrent BV and Sinusitis. I was diagnosedin Feb with Fibromyalgia, but I am wondering if this is all due to mold in our home. My husband and 4 kids have been sick too, but I am in the worst shape. Can mold exposure cause Fibro?

The information you have provided is worrisome.  Whatever is going on it is not just asthma or an exposure to mold.  Even with wheezing, the problem in your respiratory system may not be asthma.  It could be that there is something either in your larynx (voice box) causing the hoarseness or a problem in one of your large breathing tubes that is causing the wheeze.

There is no way for me to know if the stomach problem is related but, even if not, it will require further testing.

Let me put it this way.  Your symptoms, both respiratory and gastrointestinal are serious and there is a need for further diagnostic testing.  I suggest that you ask your doctor for a referral to specialists in Pulmonary Disease and Gastrointestinal Disease; should your doctor wish to order further tests such as a CT Scan of your abdomen, before requesting specialist consultation, that would be fine too.

What I want to stress is that there should be no delay, whatsoever, in your seeking further care.

Good luck
