congestive coughing

I have been to the doctor several times over coughing, taken bunches of medicine, when the medicine runs out I cough again. I have sinus drainage, allergies (for which I have had two years of shots), my nose isn't clogged and I do not have sinus headaches, occasional sinus pressure, nothing bad. The past several winters I get a "viral infection" and I cough, mostly at night, I get this a couple of times a year, late fall and mid spring. medicines did help, but in the last year, it has become more serious in that to not cough I have to take mucinex regularly. My breathing is fine, my coughing, I think is to clear my throat of mucus build up, and at night my nose and sinus' drain more actively. Any sluggestions would help.

you are suffering from wheat allergies, I stopped eating anything that had wheat in it, you can eat bacon, eggs, apples any fruits or vegtables, no white potatoes and no gum, if you try this for just one day you will feel so much better and your coughing will stop

The chronic sinus drainage is very likely to be one cause of your cough but, not necessarily the only cause.  Given that it has become “more serious” in recent times, you definitely should have a medical check-up to be sure that there are not other more serious causes especially those that would involve your lungs.

Good luck
