if you have the early stages of pulmonary fibrosis and you lessened to your lungs with a stethoscope, and hear crackles. can crackles sounds disappear for a while and then reappear or will they last forever due to diagnosis of pulmonary fibrosis?

It is highly likely that the “crackles” of pulmonary fibrosis will not spontaneously disappear.  If they do, other causes, for example heart failure,  should be considered.
