do I have Bronchitis? Please help

I have been wheezing out of breath, coughing up bright yellow mucus. Low grade fevers. For 2 months. My chest is tight Im dizzy. I may or may not have athma. Couple of yrs ago the dr. said I did but Im 25 and never had any problems before that. I work construction and can do nothing about being exposed to particles in the air. It is scary to have such a labor intensive job not being able to breath.
Of course your comment will be go to the dr already! If only I could. Not only can I not afford to take a day off, I cant afford the dr.
The best I could come up with is going to my friend the RN. She listened to my lungs and said it didnt sound like a Pneumonia.
She gave me alburterol on the nebulizer and 5 days of Avelox. Neither have helped what so ever. The alburterol doesnt help the wheezing at all!
Could it be something else??

Wow.  I am really sorry to hear of your travails and your medical bills of $500.  It is good that you opted to see a doctor, as untreated pneumonia can be quite dangerous.  Doing this early phase of treatment and resolution of the pneumonia it would be best if you could avoid breathing in cold air, dusty air or otherwise polluted air as could be the case were you to return to work too soon.  I understand the misery of lost wages but if you don’t do everything you can to clear the pneumonia now, you could wind up losing even more working days.

Good luck
