dry cough

I only have a dry cough when I'm in an air conditioned area,  when a fan is blowing and always when I lay down on my couch.  What can this be?  And how do I stop the cough?   If its a type of asthma, I would like to know if I need an inhaler.

You should discus this with your dr.  Asthma is a possibility, but post nasal drip, acid reflux and several other things can cause your symptoms as well.

Feel better.

It could well be asthma.  A physician visit with a careful history and physical accompanied by a chest xray and simple lung function tests can establish the diagnosis.  Inhaled medicines effective for your symptoms include bronchodilators and inhaled anti-inflammatory medications
