Did you ever figure out what illness you had? My husband is in hospital and has same fluctuating fever.
TB does give you night sweats and a fever at night. Also, a cough and extreme fatigue and loss of appetite and weight loss. Usually, the cough is productive but not always. You should have a TB skin test and/or Xray to rule out the bacteria that causes Tuberculosis. It could be a pneumonia like illness. After they rule out TB then they may give you antibiotics depending on what the Xray shows. Please follow up with your doctor on this and let us know how your results come out and if you have any more questions.

seems like you caught an infection, bacterial, viral, mold, it is difficult to tell. not Tb.
there isn't much you can do about it, taking antibiotics could make it worse if you don't know what it is. they're useless in viral infections any ways.
two weeks is not such a long time, it could go on for months. try to be at rest, for the cough try chewing sliced garlic. plain coughing because it has just started you could get some mucous with it when the infection is "mature" and the body learned how to fight it.
check your heart, bpm, blood pressure, temperature, if they are too much out of range you should seek medical help.
maybe consult a Doctor and do blood tests in search of indirect signs of infection.
today i went for a chest x-ray and ecg ...n in report it said dat there is some infection in lungs....but it may be normal infection or may be tb.....there is a confusion between the two possibilities....also my body weight has gone down n did not feel like eating much...there is little bit of coughing also but its just plain coughing n no mucous with dat.....as far as my body temperature is concerned...it is around 99 degrees fahrenheit throughout d day and goes to 102 degrees fahrenheit during night and in morning again it comes to 99 degree fahrenheit. plz help
It is very normal for your body temp. to go up and down, but if your temp stays up all the time you could have an infection somewhere and you need to be treated with some kind of antibiotics ! Hope this helps !
did you measure your body temperature each time? what values?
How high does your temperature go? It is normal to have you body temperature rise at night. It starts out at its lowest in the morning and highest at about 6 p.m. It can go up too 99 degrees Farenheit. So, it is much higher than that?
