respiratory disorders

my mother is 54 years old and had diagnosed with T.B by bronchoscopy,undergone 18 months treatment.Before this treatment she always had ESR 100-120 and after treatment came down to 10.Now what the problem is dat she is still coughing  and evening fever sometimes,same doctor is giving her treatment of asthma i.e. inhalars  and nimbulizers.During T.B. she was 34 kg and gained with 42 kg after the treatment.Now she is again losing weight and now 40 kg and also she is bleeding from nose with irritation and sometimes slight blood from cough.She is in high tension dat is it T.B again ?or other problem.

Hello and hope you are doing well.

The ESR needs to be monitored to see if it increasing from previous levels. Also, X rays, blood counts and PPD test could further help with the diagnosis.

Thanks for ur time and advice. In my previous post i forgot to mention dat my mother's ESR has been increased from 10 to 86 again.

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Understand your predicament.

But if your mother has taken the full course of therapy, and if her appetite has improved along with weight gain and as her ESR has come down, it's unlikely to be a tuberculous infection again. Repeat X rays could further help to confirm this. She could be having an infection due to other microorganisms or it could be due to Asthma. Only further investigations could help diagnose.
