I suggest that you research vocal cord dysfunction.  It is a condition in which the vocal cords spasm making a similar wheezing sound to asthma.  A person experiencing an attack can also feel a tightness in their throat.  There are breathing techniques to treat this condition.  It is best treated by a speach therapist.

Good luck.

its not your lungs that you are wheezing from. you have bronchitis.. itll clear up on its own if not go back to the doctor tell them you think you have bronchitis.. and ask them for ventolin its a steroid puffer that opens your air ways... avoid breathing cold air.. milk well any dairy walking up lotsa stairs and if you feel like your tired rest.. if your not feeling any better in 2 weeks then go back. you could have seasonal asthma.. like i said if you dont feel better in 2 weeks go back to the doctor.. or if you are coughing up orange bright green or rust coloured mucous or have sharp pains around the bottem of your ribs.. or if you lay down and can not breath then go to the doc asap.. it could be pneumonia
