why am i struggling to breath and when i take deep breaths, i cough up mucous?

Hi,I am 14 years old and I have really been struggling to catch my breath. I have to take short breaths and when I do take deep ones, I feel like I need to cough lots of stuff off my chest, but it is a dry cough so it makes me gag. When I do cough it up, it is like a lumpy greeny-yellow colour. I cant even walk up my stairs without nearly crying because I cant breath, even when I am lying down watching the telly, I am out of breath. Could anyone help me please and have an idea of what this could be? Thank you.

I haven't had any of them, my pulse is 93 bpm, do you have an idea of what it could be I am I so much pain, there is no appointments at the doctors for a while but I don't know if it serious enough to take to the hospital I don't want to waste their time of it is just something silly
Breathing issues are not silly.

Try to relax.

It sounds like you have not had tge most basic tests done.

As a nurse I recommend you go to your emergency room;)
