Dear tjmac27,
Since you are not so sure and gave me 2 values , normal being 160 and yours being 1265, i would consider this as ASO titres.
RA is of 2 types - 1)Seropositive and 2) Seronegative.
If the values are so high, you would fall into seropositive RA.
High ASO titre means some sort of inflammatory disease going inside the body. The main Differential diagnosis are -
1) Rheumatoid arthritis.
2) Rheumatic Fever.
3) Rheumatic Valvulitis
4) Chorea
5) Tic disorder
6) Skin infection
7) Cholesteryl ester storage disease.
8) Scarlet fever.
These are the main D/D available with me.
Other investigations like RA factor,ESR and CCP would help to distinguish RA from the other.

i do not have a copy of the test results so wouldnt know the answer to these!
all i know is that the doctor said the reslult is high as it should be less than 160 but it was 1265!
thanks
tara
