I've taken both together. Both my Rheumatoid doc and my back surgeon knew I was taking them.  I had no side effects that I know of but I only took the vicodin when I absolutely had too as I don't like to take strong addictive drugs.

Dear Sonny201,
Cross reaction between these 2 drugs have been reported in our literature.
However till nor any severe cross reaction has been noticed.
So i would advice you to discuss with your treating doctor before deciding further.
Regards
