Vaginal Tears/ Herpes

HI, I has sex with my boyfriend sunday night and monday morning. It has been about 2 days now. We have been having sex for a while now and we both have been tested, but neither of us know if we have been tested for herpes or not. I have been experiencing very painful urination and  I have about four small tears or sores close to the vaginal opening. They only hurt to the touch and while urinating, and wearing tight underwear. It does not itch or anything like that. Is it herpes or  just vaginal tears should i be worried that I have a STD. What could it be any advice. I am going to planned parenthood tommorow  and hopefully they can help right?

thanks.. no i called today like they told me to and the results haven't come in? Only the one for chlaymida came in and that was negative like expected. Guess I will just ave to wait they said if they dont call with in 14 days it means everything waxs negative... Its only been 5 but still hoping there is No call, I leave for college tommorow morning and I will call once I get there, It will be a few days, since its about 2800 miles away and im driving. Just  going to relax until then, nothing can be changed now so , might as well stop stressing. Thanks for all your help. Let ya know the results

It means that the culture is very accurate when its positive - you can't argue that one.  If its negative though, it might have missed a herpes infection for many reasons - the timing wasn't good, the sores had started to heal, the culture wasn't a good one, etc.

I dont quite understand, that but ok. I have been having painless  fairly good sized patch of dry skin on my stomach the top of my arms and a little patch tight by the side of my hairline down here but its much smaller, could that be a side effect from Acycalovir  or is that a symptom of an std?

They are very accurate if they are positive.  If they are negative, not so much.

I know it's easier said than done but you need to try to relax a bit more - they will call you monday with your results and then hopefully you'll know what is going on better. Write down all your questions you have so you can ask them when they do call you.  Ask what std's you were tested for this time. Ask if they checked you for yeast and bacterial vaginosis.  Ask how your bf can get tested too if he hasn't already. Since the clinic knows what they did they can answer those questions for you much better than we can at this point.

Hang in there - you are feeling better at least and you'll hopefully have more answers monday to answer your questions better :)

Then they might not have tested.  If your testing comes back negative, you should get tested for yeast and bv.
