A little worried about unprotected oral

Sorry this may be long. Couple of years ago I received unprotected oral from a massage parlor. Had some issue that worried me. Went to the doctor who did a physical exam, a regular urinalysis, and standard blood work. He did not seem concerned about my fears of an std and said there was nothing in any of the test to suggest I should worry about it. I then did specific urinalysis test for chlyamidia   And gohnorea and both test came back negative. Fast forward too now and I am having some random unexplained joint pain in my elbow, and neck. It comes and goes and about a year ago I battled a bad eye infection that I have no idea how I got. I also have this tightness in my lower abdomen that comes and goes. My spouse claimed now that her elbow is hurting as well. I read that untreated gohnarea can cause joint inflammation and pain. So now I am worried about this. Should I be concerned with stds and maybe I had a false negative test? Any information would be appreciated.

I am sorry I didn’t mean to aggravate anyone. I was just wondering if what my doctor said sounds right. I really don’t think it would be syphallis. As I never noticed a sore and never a rash on my palms or soles of my feet.

I agree my anxiety is troubling me and am in the process of fixing that.

I'm not aggravated with you, more so your doctor who is doing totally unnecessary testing on you that don't matter, when he could just as easily do STD testing that will help ease your mind. If he is going to test you, he should just do the testing that matters.

Any testing at this point is for your peace of mind. It's so you can see the negative results and hopefully move on.

Please consider seeing a therapist.

So I went to the doctor and told him the issues I was having and told him my concerns if STD. He did a physical evaluation, normal urine exam, and a CBC blood test. He said all my test came back fine. When I asked him again about STD testing he said nothing in my physical exam or test already done would warrant any further testing.
I Know not ghonorrea or chlymidia as I tested negative for those before at a testing center. My question is with syphillis. But my Doc says I shouldn’t worry. Just wanting to get someone’s thoughts on this.

Honestly, just go to an STD clinic and get tested for everything. Tell them you were unfaithful on your wife 6 months ago or something, and test. If you don't get negative tests for everything, it won't allow you to put this to rest.

Syphilis is uncommon in developed countries like the US, the UK, Canada, etc. I wouldn't worry about that, but I suspect you will.

Also, please, please see a therapist. There is some serious anxiety here, and maybe guilt - I don't know. Just get some help. There's no shame in it.

No, I don't think you should be concerned.  Your symptoms do not sound like anything related to an std in the first place and you tested back when this happened.  Are you going through an anxious period in your life?  This can often be when something like a past sexual episode that we already ruled out as a problem for us starts to resurface as a worry.  If anxiety is behind this, I'd focus on that so that you don't have unnecessary worry.

I would say their is no doubt that I have some anxiety. There are just things happening with me that I can’t explain as far as with inflammation and when you look for information untreated std always seems to pop up. I never had any typical symptoms of an std, but then they say you may not show symptoms which is concerning. I did specific urine test for both chlamydia and ghonarea which came back negative, but then worry that it is false negative. I never tested for syphyllis but I never noticed any cancre sore on my genitals.
I have had several standard blood test since then and they always come back normal (I am currently doing trt therapy) so I would think that if something was wrong those would atleast show abnormal. I don’t know what is going on with me, so yes some I am sure is anxiety’s.
You tested negative for gonorrhea, meaning you didn't have it. What you're referring to is disseminated gonorrhea infection (DGI). DGI is uncommon and only occurs in less than 3% of untreated gonorrhea cases.

Are you addressing the anxiety?
I am trying to address the anxiety. I just know I don’t feel right which is leading to more anxiety. I need to definitely do a better job of addressing the anxiety.
Have you had your doctor look at your elbow and neck? Maybe you have a pinched nerve? An inflamed disc? There's a bunch of reasons why this could be happening, including things as simple as needing a more supportive pillow or sleeping funny.

I don't know what your eye infection was, but it's very easy to get bacteria in your eyes, causing infection. Did your doctor ever tell you what the infection was? Call and ask if you don't know.

To address the anxiety, see a therapist. It can really help.
I believe my eye infection was uveitis. Maybe from using a cpap is what they thought at the time. It is just I am still having some eye discomfort off and on and my eyesight get blurry when reading, espically from my computer screen.

I just seem to be having different things happen throughout my body and it creates anxiety and guilt for sure.

I also have a broke tooth and am wondering if that is causing me problems. Thanks for your response.
Address the issues - the neck and elbow, the tooth, etc., and the anxiety, and go from there. You can always get another gonorrhea test if it makes you feel better.
Do you feel it necessary to re-test? I was unsure how accurate the test are is why I was asking.
No, I don't think you need a retest. I was only suggesting it for peace of mind if it would make you feel better. If your first test was more than 3-5 days after the encounter then it's reliable and accurate.
Ok. Thank you. It was well after that time frame.
So this is weird. My MIL got a call in her cell phone for me to confirm a doctors appointment. 1st I have never used her cell number for anything to do with me. 2. I didn’t make any doctors appointments. 3. The only doctor I see on a normal basis is at a men’s clinic for TRT. So had my anxiety going in the right direction and then this happens. I look up the doctor and it is an infectious disorder doctor, so now I am freaking out a bit, but I have no idea who this doctor is, I haven’t been referred to any doctors, so I don’t know what to think and now it’s has my anxiety going again. I didn’t find out until after the doctors office closed, so I don’t know what to think.
By now, the doctor's office has opened. What happened?

It's interesting that you freak out, and your anxiety gets ramped up, and my cynical, suspicious side comes out and thinks this is just really weird. Were you married when you went to the massage place? Did you hear the message or was it just relayed to you by your MIL?

Yes I was married and no I didn’t hear the message. I did call the doctors office. The lady that called was not in but the lady asked my name and said she did not see me on the schedule. She asked me what the number was they called and would pull it to see what the deal was. She said if there was anything I needed to know she would call me back. Guessing just a mistake. Again I have no idea how someone would have got that number or how I would have an appointment there. I just panicked, more than likely for no reason.
Okay, I don't understand what happened there, but it could be just a mistake.

In any case, you had very little risk in the first place, you have negative tests, and now some totally unrelated symptoms. If it makes you feel better, test again, but it would be strictly for peace of mind, and nothing else.
