does syphillis chancre on upper lip show up let's say 8 weeks after possible exposure?
tested hiv negative at 6 weeks, on 8th week i developed cold sores near my nostrils. a week after i noticed something on my upper lip, no pain, but i felt a lil itching that made me notice and lick it. looks like 2 small blisters and scabbed overnight.
Syphilis is known to be able to "hibernate" inside the body for so long, even years, so it's possible to have the chancre 8 weeks after the infection.
