Azithromycin treatment for Chlamydia. It’s not working

I was tested on November 8th for any STI’s and I didn’t know I had Chlamydia until I went to my gyn doctor on December 24th and she called me and told me. She prescribed me azithromycin 500mg two tablets one dose. I took the second tablet 14 hours later because the first tablet made my stomach hurt so bad. I know I took it wrong. So it’s been a week and a half since I took the two tablets and I still see that my discharge is thick and white. Do I have to get another dose of the antibiotics or should I just wait to see if it clears up?
