Azithromycin

I just received my chlamydia treatment in the form of 4 tablets to be taken in one dose of Azithromycin.  I starting menstruating today and I didnt know if there would be any reason this would affect the effectiveness of  the drug.  Also my partner was just treated yesterday...How long before we can resume having sex?

I search all over and ask few doctors , AVOID ANY SEXUAL ACTIVITY FOR 7 DAYS AFTER THE TREATMENT - I know thats hard but thats the best way to prevent the infection back and forth.

I have a question for you about the dose ..

I was diagnosed with GONNA. and they gave me doxy. for treatment .
My parthner got same treatment as yours and Im worried about the dose , they gave her 4x500mg and the doc said she need to take all of them within one hour - is that the same treatment you got ? we little worry about it.

Thank you

I dont think your period will affect the antibiotics from curing chlamydia. a weeks time after taking the ALL the antibiotics will be ok to resume sex.
