What would cause a pea-sized lump under the skin of your labium minora?

Ashrose - This post is a year old, so you might not get a response.

The same advice applies though - if its under the skin, not an std.  If its on the skin, it could be, but could also be staph, folliculitis, etc., and you need to see a doctor.

I think it could of just been an irriated gland..I did the hot bath today and gross as it may sound i squeezed it a little to see and pus came out then blood. So Im guessing I should be fine...but if it doesnt go away or if it returns i will sure go get it checked!
thanks again for all your adice

I can't say to rule anything out - I'm not a doc - but a warm compress can help the body absorb any fluid that might be in there.

So I should stop worrying thinking it could be this huge problem? so I can most likely rule out an std? what can the hot bath or warm compress do for it?
thanks so much for your help

Yep, it could appear suddenly.

It might be related to irritation.  Its up to you if you want to wait.  If it gets worse, you get a fever (which is unlikely), etc., then please follow up with your doc promptly.

You might try soaking in a hot bath or using a warm compress on it.

Could a cyst or infected gland just appear out of nowwhere? I know this sounds weird but could a small gland just got irriated while having long amounts of oral or dry sex in a short period of time? its the only bump I have and I used a condom when I had sex....could it be an std? Im just scared that it might be cuz my mind works over time...Should I maybe wait a week and see if it goes away cuz of it maybe being irriated?
