Had std panel test all clear negative, but when I don't a lot of water pee still burns, doesn't burn with a lot of water. honestly I don't think you had anything infectious going on when you were given bactrim.   can you develop prostate infections from non-std related bacteria? yes you can.

Oh great so If my partner had a yeast infection and bv and we had sex only once would that have been the cause? She said her ph balance was off and the doc gave her antibiotics. Idk anymore what to think because everything I read is that if a male under 35 has a uti it's most likely from an std. And from time to time I still have that discomfort in my urethra, but like I said its getting better but still worry some.

you wouldn't have had symptoms of any std or infection that was contracted from that sexual encounter that very same night.

Hi grace, I guess because on 09/05 I got the uti from the sexual encounter and the urologist didnt perform the DRE. He just examine my urine said it was fine. Maybe I'm overreacting as from my earlier post. As always ur guidance is greatly appreciated
