CMV Infection maybe?

FWK
Hi guys,

I was reading about Eye problems, since I have floaters and sometimes my eyes feel dry and today they are a bit painful (maybe computers)...had retina dialated test at optholmoligist and he says my retina is very good.
I have a bit of hazy vision.
I never knew it is sexually transmitted, so felt worried......how would I know
I am worried a bit about this nowadays
I also read on the forum that everyone usually gets the infection at one point and usually ur immune system fights it off.....so getting confused

Question/s:
Does this test show if I have CMV, if not can I ask GUM to do the test even if I don't have HIV or EBV or anything else?

Thanks and regards,

I agree, and most eye things like you describe are from eye strain, allergies, etc.

I don't think GUM will do the test unless you have HIV. Private clinic maybe.
