Can a std develope within hours of sex?

I last had sex with my now exgirlfriend on Thursday and we broke up Friday and had been having sex maybe for a month on and off with using protection. I had sex with an different ex girlfriend on Sunday and the condom broke. A couple hours later maybe 4-5 I noticed a tinglying sensation when drive home on my penis. Wake up next day on Monday and have white/yellowish discharge and sensation much more noticeable and hard to pee. Been to doctor already got shot and antibiotics to start treatment in case it's gon/chalymdia. What are the chances I could have gotten a std within 24hrs of having sex? Or is more likely I got something from the first person?

Could it be some sort of other infection that occurs within 24hrs? I noticed the sensation literally 4-5hrs later after sex on Sunday and going on day three still have it. Waiting to hear back test results.
