Please help.

I have been worried for the past several months. About two years ago I had a minor "thing" with a guy. I didnt have sex. I did give him a handjob, and what may be considered oral sex. His penis just came in and out of my mouth. I didnt "lick" it or anything like that, it only lasted for a couple of seconds. He did ejaculate on my stomach and shoulder. Now i have yellow-ish discharge, sometimes itching and some pain. I have a soar troat for a couple of days now.I have had my blood drawn several times, never testing for stds. I'm worried. Please tell me if I could possibly have and STD.
Thank You in advance

Thanks a lot for all your help. I know i shouldn't worry but thats just me. I freak out for everything. But thank you for your answers. I will go to the doctor and talk to her about it and see what she says. Thanks again.

Oral is much less of a risk than genital sex is, but most oral stds don't cause symptoms.

And what do you have to gain by not knowing for sure?  Its so doubtful you have anything, but if you won't rest until you know, then find out.  Wouldn't it be better to know finally that you don't have anything, than to sit around and worry for another 2 years needlessly?

Getting tested doesn't change the infection.  It just means you can get treated if you need to.  And as you said - you didn't really give him oral sex, so why all the worry?  That's kind of contradictory.

I want to go back to the doc. but I'm so scared that i would test positive for something.I read that most std symptoms would show up within a week of exposure and that oral risk is much less than anal or vaginal. but i didnt really give him oral sex. Please tell me if the information i read is correct.

Oh and any oral std that would cause a sore in your mouth wouldn't take 2 years to appear.

But most oral stds wouldn't give you symptoms.  Why not go back to your doc and find out what it is?  Sitting and worrying isn't going to change if you have something or not, it will just allow you to get information and treated.

She said it was a minor soar throat, from drainage. Its strep or anything major. I didn't point out the bump under my tongue because i didn't notice it until yesterday. Im very worried. Nothing big has appeared on my mouth other a soar from time to time, its minor and it's not painful. I am so scared, i have forced my mind to come up with so many reasons why i could have an std.

Well, if she gave you medication, what did she think was wrong?

If your doctor saw this, and saw no reason for concern, I have to agree with her.

I've already said its doubtful you have an std.

I read over what you wrote earlier, and im still afraid. My question is, would i have had a major outbreak in the last 2 years if i did have some kind of mouth std. I noticed a bump under my tongue and its starting to worry me. I had swollen lymph nodes and a soar throat for  about a week, i went to the doctor and she said the swollen lymph nodes are not swollen enough for a big problem and she gave me medication. Please tell me if i could possibly have some std of the mouth with the information i have provided you with. Thank you in advance.
