Chlamydia / Gonorrhea Treatment

I've read up on the web that Zithromax is the treatment for Chlamydia + Gonorrhea.
Just like to verify it here with you guys.

Also, i am still un-tested for the above disease. Just that the window period of it have not come up, is it safe for me to take the drug above even if the test is going to be negative? If I wait until the test is out, will it be too late for me to take the medication?

Ther eis no hard and fast number, but can say unlikely.

No, you can get treatement from day 1 to day 1000. Gonorrhea over 90% of men get symptoms in 5 days. Chlamydia only 50% but chlamydia is so rare with oral sex it is not a concern.

grace thanks for your reply. can i know the statistics/percentage of contradicting STDs in receiving unprotected oral sex? i am very worried.

also, u mention theres no reason for me taking any testing or any treatment unless i develop symptoms within the next few weeks. would it be too late to be cured if i wait until i was been tested? i also have heard of some people that will not develop any symptoms at all. what is your take on that?

you had unprotected oral sex. the odds that you contracted a std from it are very low in general. No reason for any testing or any treatment unless you develop symptoms within the next few weeks.

In general we recommend protected sexual contact. it protects you , saves you from worrying like this as well as keeps you from having to test frequently.  something to keep in mind for future encounters :)
