Chlamydia / Gonorrhea questions

Ok, I am 45yr old male. Slept with a younger female. I have already been diagnosed with chlamydia. At first thinking I may have a UTI, I was put on 7 days of cipro, 500mg cipro. After about 5 days, and reading, I suspected an STI. So as mentioned, tested positive, took 1500g of Azithro. I had discharge and a painful..well penis. The discharge was very clear, bit milky at times like puss in clear fluid. No colors like green or yellow.
3 days after treatment, symptoms finally started to get better. Within 5/6 days, no symptoms. Went about 3days and everythign seemed fine. Around day 10 after treatment, I began to have some discomfort, urethritis. If there is a dischage, it is extremely light, not noticable. If I milk, I do get a little our, very clear like pre-cum. After I ejaculate, I do feel some consistant pain in penis.  Now i am worried have gonorrhea. For whatever reason, I didn't get tested for that when I went in. I know I should have asked, but this is all a first, and was very nervious/anxiety filled. High anxiety now. Is it possible my Chlamydia symptoms are still there? Just wondering what some thoughts were on this? I know I should just go get tested. What kind of treatment is available for gonorrhea?  Thanks!

Update. Went to STD clinic and got series of tests run. Quick Gono test came back negative. Which was a relief. But wondering how accurate the quick test is? Dr. said rarely do they deviate from final test. Said there was very slight irritation. So he gave me another 1000g of Zithro to take. I dont' see or feel any kind of symptoms except for very slight burn when begin to urinate. Everything else "looked" good as well. I do feel better, less anxiety!!

azithromycin doesn't always take care of ngu. depends on the cause of it.  it also is ineffective for gonorrhea too at this point.

Thanks Grace. Yes, it was unprotected. :( As was oral..which I know Gonorrhea can be transferred. Wouldn't the Azithro take care of NGU?
Would the Azithro knock down the Gonorrhea symptoms for a the few days I felt good? What is treatment for Gono? I believe I read where the recommend only the injection now? Is this true? THanks again!!

I'm assuming the sex was unprotected that you contracted chlamydia. you should be properly following up on the right testing at the right times.

you need to cover the gonorrhea base. wait one week after your last antibiotics before testing for it.  You also need to test for ngu and trich too when you test for gonorrhea. syphilis testing can be done at 6 weeks post encounter. herpes, hiv and hepatitis testing after 3 months.

if all of your testing comes back negative, make sure that they manually inspect your prostate too.

stop milking your penis too. it just irritates it all more needlessly.

Yes, I am sure I didn't. :(  Interesting as I had a constant burn with minor discharge. The Azithro cleared it up for a few days. But not I am noticing a minor discomfort with little to no discharge. Although today I had a fairly significant discharge, very clear. But I was also sexually aroused a bit and was wondering if it was because of that. But I think it was more than I have ever noticed. :(

Hi. are you sure they didnt test for gono? The difference between the two is with chlamydia and gono symptoms is with gono you get big time burning and big time discharge, with chlam you get more of an itching and minor discharge. you should have been tested for both as they require different med treatments. Gono is a nasty bug.
