Chlamydia/ Gonorrhea/ NGU

I was tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea (urine test) at two different places 4 days after possible exposure. One day after possible exposure I slept with my girlfriend. I did not have any discharge or pain while urinating but I did have constant burning in my penis after 3 days. I was given 1 g azithromax at my request because I was worried. My tests from both places came back negative for gonorrhea and chlamydia and after looking on this site I am confident that the tests are reliable for chlamydia and gonorrhea at that time frame. My girlfriend is experiencing bleeding inbetween her period right now which I know could be caused by gonorrhea or chlamydia/NGU. My girlfriend was given the generic brand of her birth control last month and she thinks the spotting could be due to that because it is different than the normal birth control she takes.

1) Should I be concerned that I have possibly given her an std after sleeping with her only once after being possibly exposed to an std before I was treated? She has been on a different brand of birth control and has been stressed. The bleeding is the only symptom she has experienced that is close to chlamydia or gonorrhea that I could find.

2) Can you test negative for chlamydia and still have an NGU? If so, what is the likelihood her bleeding is due to an NGU that would not have been detected on my urninalysis?

Another term for NGU is NSU or non specific urethraitis, but these would be urethra infections not vaginal  and would show up as NSU. But if shes not having any urethra issues is a good sign.
With the bleeding inbetween periods, in the area of STD,s,  i would also suggest a test for Trich which is a parsite but also with this there is often a greenish discharge.
Im not trying to scare you or make you feel bad but only trying to bring to light that there was a risk for all these and very often women donot have symptoms.

Thanks. I was tested at pretty much at 4 1/2 days so I feel pretty confident with the results. I was tested at a clinic and at my primary care physician just so I would have two sets of results. I will tell my girlfriend to go to her gyno to get checked out. If I did in fact have a NGU not related to chlamydia what would it show up as when her gyno tests her?

All i can say it that testing at the 5 day mark would be more accurate as does take time to mulitply and to produce white cells. Having unprotected sex with a random girl would surly make it a high risk activity.
Normlly we only advise testing with urethra irritations or a penis discharge that appear at the 5 day mark OR if you have a regular partner back home.  Testing negative for Gono and  such could still have an NGU. The term NGU only means its not Gono.  I would suggest your girl see her Gyno and also for you to test for the below at the correct window period for her protection;

HIV----3 months
Herpes----3 months
gono and chly---5 days
syphilis----6 weeks

I had unprotected vaginal sex with a random girl I met. The encounter lasted only about 5 minutes.
