Chlamydia itchy anus

I just got treated for chlamydia on August 2nd this is my second time having this STD. The first time I took the antibiotic I had a lot side effects, but this time I didn’t have any, I’m still having symptoms 3 days later. Is the antibiotic not working?

I would finish out the course of antibiotics. If you make it to the end of your treatment and still have symptoms, I would go back to see a doctor again as soon as you can.

Last week I went back to see my doctor. She told me it the itching might be from inflammation, but still ended up prescribing me doxycycline rather than Azithromycin like the first time. I’ve been taking it since Friday today is the 4th day, but I’m still having mild itching.
