Chlamydia?

Hello,
I am a 20 year old female and got diagnosed with Chlamydia two weeks ago. The doctor gave me a round of antibiotics and I have not been sexually active ever since. My symptoms for vaginal chlamydia went away for a few days and I am now experiencing pain and bleeding after bowel movements. Can you be infected with Chlamydia in two different areas simultaneously? Or did my treatment not work? I am going back to see my doctor in a few days but I am scared that the infection might be back or it never went away? Should I also get tested for PID? I think I detected the chlamydia infection early enough. I want to be able to have kids of my own one day and get rid of this thing.

After my own experience with Chlamydia not wanting to go away, I would definitely recommend going back for follow up testing. Medically speaking, a doctor will usually advise you to come back in 3 months. Have your chlamydia symptoms came back, not including the bowel issues? That has been an issue for me somewhat for the chlamydia symptoms  to "subside" and then all of sudden start perking back up. If you're only experiencing the bowel issues, then I wouldn't be too sure that Chlamydia was the issue. It's possible to get infected in that area with Chlamydia, but I have not experienced that personally. Since you still have concerns following your treatment, I would try to get back in with a doctor as soon as you can.
