Clhaymidia

quick question so back in 2012 in the summer and in december i had unprotected sex and on june 3rd i went to the clinic and got tested for hiv and the lady there said it came back negative but she was just running a confirmation rapid blood test does this mean i'm negative but before that i went and got treated for gonorrhea and the lady also gave me pills for claymidia but since i came back negative for claymidia i didn't take the pills now here i am and not all the time but sometimes i start to develope a sore throat but it goes away before it gets bad and i have a rash is this claymidia or what? and also after i got treated for gonorrhea i had oral sex with a guy but he was tested negative for hiv and std's and like a month late me and my boyfriend had oral sex but idk if he had anything at that point or not but he said that he had been with anyone around that time

make sure herpes testing is a part of your routine std testing. 1 out of every 2-3 adults has hsv1 and 1 out of every 4-5 has hsv2 if you are under 50. well worth the testing :)

no not a type specific herpes igg test. I only thought it was a std because i had a hiv test on june 3 12-13 months after possible exposure from unprotected sex with the same guy back in 2012 and my results came back negative and so i thought maybe a std was causing the ocassional sore throat and had caused the rash

odds are this isn't std related at all but best to follow up on it.

make sure they look at your rash too.

so you and your current bf have both had full std testing now that also included type specific herpes igg blood testing too?

i plan on going back today after work but i woke up this morning and my throat was fine so since it isn't hiv is this claymidia or some other std?

you posted previously about this encounter and your symptoms. it's most helpful when you just keep updating your post instead of making new ones. thanks!

have you been back to your provider for further exam since this has been going on for over a month now?
