I recently posted on the HIV forum about an unprotected oral encounter (both giving and receiving) with a female CSW in Shanghai where I live. Because I had not read other posts beforehand, I did not know that I effectively had no HIV risk, and I was understandably admonished by Teak and Lizzie. I apologize for wasting their time.
Since that encounter I have been having symptoms consistent with other STDs that could be transmitted orally or by contact with bodily fluids. I have sifted through numerous posts on these forums, but remain confused and very anxious. I plan to get tested tomorrow, but perhaps someone can evaluate my risks for Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Herpes, NGU, etc.
The encounter was on July 28. A few days later, my eyes became severely bloodshot and have remained so since then, nearly one month later. My eyes are extremely red in the morning, but get better as the day progresses. I have no significant discharge, pain, or crusting, but my upper and lower lids are a bit swollen, and I experience more than normal tearing. I am also more light sensitive and have noticed a slight blurring in my vision. On August 20, my face became red. My oral temperature was 37.7C. The next day, the lymph nodes under my jaw in the tonsils area were swollen, my throat was sore, and I found it difficult to swallow. I noticed a white patch on my uvula. Since then my temperature has gradually decreased in stages, to 37.5, 37.3, and by yesterday it was a normal 37. My throat continues to be sore and the lymph nodes have become smaller but have not completely returned to normal. Swallowing is easier but not normal. Also, I have felt very lethargic, lost my appetite, and droped about 10 pounds over the past two or three weeks, though this could be from anxiety.
Can an STD affect both eyes and throat simultaneously? Could I have two separate infections? What are the possible STD causes of my condition(s)?
Many thanks for any advice and information.
