Do I have any reason to be afraid?

Dear dr. Sorry for the wrong word. There was a protected sex with a Hungarian prostitute. In his apartment. But it happened that I was licking for half a minute, there was nothing strange, it was clean. What kind of std? Go to the test? Or calm down? Help.

I would like to ask what kind of std risk is there in Hungary? Bigger than you? Because I've been sleeping since the incident since. I'm nervous. 18 days have passed and nothing has happened since then. After that time in gonorrhea throat, if I didn't experience it, wouldn't I get infected?

So if I understand correctly, you performed oral sex on a man for about 30 seconds?

The risk is very low to get anything. Yes, you could get gonorrhea, but for such a brief exposure, I wouldn't worry too much. You could also get syphilis, but in the absence of any sores, the chances are very, very low.

If you are concerned, ask your doctor to test your throat for gonorrhea. I wouldn't worry about syphilis at all.

Giving oral sex to a woman is less risky than giving oral to a man, but you can still be at risk for gonorrhea in the throat (though not nearly as likely as if you were giving oral to a man, since the penis is actually inserted into the mouth), and syphilis, if the person who is receiving oral sex has a syphilis sore.

In theory, you could get oral hsv2 if the person has genital herpes type 2, but hsv2 doesn't really like the mouth, and it's rare that it happens. It's not impossible, but it's rare.

I would have another interesting question. And I finish the subject. If there is no change in my throat after 3 weeks, is there no gonorrhea? And if there is throat gonorrhea then can it be given by sex? (unprotected sex.)

You might not get symptoms with gonorrhea in the throat, but without symptoms, I wouldn't worry about it, since the exposure was so brief.

If you (or anyone) has throat gonorrhea, it is only spread from the throat. It would not be transmitted by vaginal or anal sex. It's only transmitted from the location of the infection.

Thanks. I was a little relaxed. Really a last question ... If there is throat gonorrhea then can I give it a kiss? That was really my last question.

Yes, it wouldn't be transmitted by kissing. However, please remember that I don't think you have a high risk for anything.
