Do I have syphilis or a pimple?

For about a week I've had a small bump on the left side of my penis that looked like a pimple. It had white puss inside and only partially popped. Since then it has stayed the same size only more red and inflamed looking (probably because of me "popping it") and even more of he white puss returned. It doesn't hurt, no itching, and I had something similar to this before. In the past I had it checked out and the doctor told me it didn't look like syphilis. I have taken multiple tests for similar cases and all came back negative. I did NOT take a test for this most recent case because of schedule constraints. Is this just some pimple that refuses to pop, or do I really have syphilis?
