Doxycycline and Related Issues Re Chlamydia

I strayed both 14 and seven days ago and had encounters w/o protection with two sep. women. 3 days following 2nd encounter, started to develop slight pain in testicle - the same pain I have encounter 2X in past 5 years or so and diagonosed as prostititis. Urologist assured me that such an infection often doesn't show up in urinalysis.  Visited walkin yesterday, urine test neg for Chlamydia. Await lab work,(swab test)  which has already come back for Hepatis as neg.  The tested for everything, and prescribed  4 pill azithromicin (took yesterday) and levequin.  Spoke to partner, she developed a UTI next day and is being treated.  She checked with provider who indicated it was indeed an E-coli infection. My prostate exam ind no swelling.  My questions:  My wife is on Doxycycline 2x day. If I have Chlamydia or a UTI infection, or prostate for that matter, would the Doxy sucessfully block/treat it?  I had a prescription for bactrim and my wife (MD) suggested that I start it as I indicated I felt like I was getting another prostate infection.  (I had only taken one pill evening b4 tests at clinic).  If I do not have an std, I am incredibly fortunate and lucky and do not intend to tell her.  If I do have the UTI bit or Chlamydia, would her Doxy block it?  Advice?  I

Tests came back and I was negative for all STD's - urine, swab and bloodwork. Following 10th and final day of prescription for Levequin -(took mid-day), next a.m. we had sex.  Within hours, i.e. less than 3 hours or so, I sensed pain coming back.  Got another 14 days of Levequin and its going away.  What's most likely, prostatitis that needs alot more antibiotics, or her and I swapping some sort of bacteria that is infecting me?  Would it get into that same area so quickly?   Same thing 4 years ago. same pain.  My insistance we were swapping something, her obgyn insisting to her during exam that it was not something we were swapping.  How long does it take for a bacteria from a uti to cause pain?  If it was coming from her, wouldn't it cause her symptoms as well?

You need to get tested (as you have done) and treated if you have something. Doxy should clear up chlamydia as for the others it's best to talk with a Dr about.

But chlamydia is not the only concern from unprotected sex, every STD and HIV is a concern.
