Fingering with precum, piercing with unsterilized needle

I have 2 questions-

1) Are there any chances of contracting an sti/STD by getting fingered with a drop of precum? If yes, what do I get tested for?

2) is there a chance of getting hepatitis by getting a piercing with an unsterilized needle with no blood on it?

I'm feeling really anxious and I would be grateful if you could please answer my questions.

You will not get an std from fingering.  Hep C is spread through blood. No blood means it's not going to be a factor.

Wait, I can't contract an STD/STI even when I'm fingered with precum on the finger? I'm not sure if I was clear in the question, sorry..!
No. STIs dont last long enough (realistically) out side of the body so any masturbation done to you or by others is not a real risk. Risk factors are...

Oral
Anal
Vaginal
Sharing needles

Each one of those has their own inherent risks which will be different than the others and also depends on outside factors. Theres always going to be a theoretical risk like its a theoretical risk that it could rain so much that the UK will be totally flooded. It's never going to happen.
HPV is about the only risk.  HPV is warts.  There are many and I mean MANY different types of warts and most get better on their own.  If the person that fingered you had an HPV wart on their finger (UNLIKELY), then it could possibly transfer.  If you fingered them and came into contact with HPV, you could possibly transfer the wart to your finger.  Again, unlikely.  There is really such minimal risk from this activity for STD's that I would not worry.  And definitely not give it a second thought unless you develop some type of symptom and again, HPV (warts) is the really only one that might actually transmit.  And it really probably would not.  And NOT from precum.  The finger would have to have a wart when fingering you and transmit that way.
Oh wow phew! That's a relief, thank you so much! It happened a while ago and I don't have any warts and I'm pretty healthy otherwise so I think my body would fight off any other type of hpv. Thank you again I think I can finally sleep well!!!!
Actually, the HPV strains that are found on the hands do not affect the genitals. Hands do not transmit STDs.

So you're questions:

1) Are there any chances of contracting an sti/STD by getting fingered with a drop of precum? If yes, what do I get tested for?

No, none.

2) is there a chance of getting hepatitis by getting a piercing with an unsterilized needle with no blood on it?

Was it a pre-used needle? Have you been vaccinated for hep B? How long had it been since someone else had been pierced with it? Where was the piecing? The chances are really low, but I'd like to know the info before I really give an answer. It takes a significant amount of blood to infect, and even health care professionals with needle sticks have really low rates of infections. There could be other bacteria involved, though, like staph or MRSA. If you haven't already done this, don't.

Hi, thank you for your response.. my dad said I've been given all the necessary vaccines so I'm pretty sure I have been vaccinated for hep b.

The piercing was done at a tattoo parlor and it was done with a piercing gun (which I later found out was a bad idea), and it was an ear piercing (cartilage). This was in 2017.
I once pierced my ear lobe with a safety pin 4 years ago.. (VERY stupid, I know) but I was 16 and I had NO idea about any sort of infections or STDs until recently. The safety pin wasn't sterilized but it was new, unused and looked clean. I didn't have any infections but I'm worried that I might have hepatitis since it may not have symptoms..
Okay, my dad said he's not sure if I've been vaccinated for hep b!!!!
Still not worth worrying about. If the pin was clean like you said hep b is passed by blood and bodily fluids.
Listen, if it was "new and unused", it couldn't have had any blood or body fluids from anyone else on it, right? It doesn't need to be sterilized.

Sterilized just means it has been cleaned to remove anything from anyone else, and has been kept free from bacteria in the air. If it hasn't been used, all you need to worry about is exposure to air, and it's been awhile, and didn't get infected, right? No pus or anything?

You're fine. Really. Now you know and any future piercings you get, make sure they are done properly. There are way easier ways than a safety pin lol.
Ok phew! no, there was no pus. And no, there was nothing on the needle. I'm going to go get tested to see if I've been vaccinated for hep b or not. Thank you guys!!!
You're welcome. Take care :)
Hi I'm sorry, I had another question. How is it possible that I can't get hep b by getting fingered with precum on the finger but I can get it if I get pierced by a needle with body fluids on it?
Fingers are exposed to air, movement, etc., and if there are any germs in the precum, they will start dying as soon as they are exposed to air. Hands just don't transmit STDs.

Needles for piercings shouldn't transmit. No reputable piercer should be re-using needles they haven't sterilized, and even with piercing guns, the bigger concern is bacteria that can cause localized infections, rather than hep. If hep was all that common from piercing guns, think of all the little girls that would have it.

If you get tattooed, it's usually from reused ink that you get something - dipping needles with blood on them into the ink and then reusing that ink. Most tattoo artists don't do that anymore, and you should ask about that if you get one.

Is this level of anxiety normal for you? If it is, you should talk to your doctor about it when you go for your hep test.
Thank you for your response! That's a relief.. And you're right, I have really bad health anxiety and I'll definitely talk to a doctor about it. Thank you for taking the time out for helping me :)
You're welcome. Take care of your anxiety. That will cause more problems that anything you're imagining piercings and tattoos and such will. :)
You are right.. I will!
