Follow Up on Staph infection

Hi,
I was diagnosed with NGU caused by coag neg staph. The doc perscribed several medications to emprericly treat me. However, many meds were uneffective against the staph. The drugs I did get, that were supposed to be effective are
Rocephine 500mg injection 2 weeks ago
and Cravit 500x3 and 250x7 1 week 3 days ago

During the infection, the staff had spread across my unrinary tract and reproductive tract. ie. Tescicles, vas defereance, bladder etc. That was the worst of it. I'm glad to say the treatment cleared up 95% of the trouble.
But I am still suffering from a pain in the ureathera at the tip of my penis. I also still have a small discharge, only at night.

How long should it take the symptoms to disapear compleatly?

Will the meds affect my WBC and mask an infection?

The doc is treating me for prostitis already. It's a week by week thing.
He estimates about 4 weeks.....I hope not.
I've been on meds for 5 weeks now all be it none were effective against staph.

My regular doc thinks it my be an opprotunisitc fungal infection causing my problems. He took a second swab and will get the results next tuesday.

The meds could mask an infection.  You should follow up and ask if its possible that the infection is in your prostate now.  That's harder to treat.
