Gonnorhea or Gardnerella?

Hello,
I would like to get another opinion on my situation.  I know that the details don't really matter, but I would like to share a little bit of my story.

So, recently, I hooked up with this guy for about 5 days straight. I had not had sex with anyone for about 7 months until this guy. He said he hadn't been with anyone for 3 months. But, he seemed like the type to sleep around. We were attracted to eachother and ended up having unprotected sex that same night we met. (We didn't have condoms and I decided to take a chance on him)
Well, during kissing, my mouth became very dry. The next morning, I saw that he had a half pea sized lump on his penis an inch or two from his testicles. It was light colored and looked dry and painless. I also noticed scars on the inside of his thighs next to his testicles that looked like burn scars.
Anyway, a few days later, I noticed I had greenish, bloody discharge with a bad smell and I went to the doctor. I was treated with antibiotics for gonorrhea and chlamydia. I also had a sore throat and told the doctor about it. She said it was possible to get gonorrhea in the mouth. (I did have unprotected oral sex with him as well) I was told about my results two days later and learned I had gardnerella and that the antibiotics they gave me should have cleared it up. (They said everything was negative except for gardnerella) Three days later, I looked at my throat with a flashlight because it felt swollen and sore. I was shocked to see that my throat and tonsils had large amounts of white/yellow colored cottage cheese looking stuff there. So, I went to a different doctor to try to find out what it was, but she didn't even take a sample or culture of my throat. She was rude to me and acted like I shouldn't be complaining because I had made my own choice. She said she didn't consider gardnerella to be sexually contracted, but I know in my heart it was. I had never had anything like that before. She did prescribe something else for the gardnerella. So, I have been on antibiotics for 2-3 days now. I am still worried because I still have bloody discharge (but not smelly or odd colored) and my urine seems dark (almost orange). I also feel bloated and have mild cramping. (My period is not due for 2-3 weeks) For some reason, my hands and feet have been falling asleep here and there. The stuff in my throat looks a little better, though.
I know this doesn't matter, but I wanted to add that the guy I had sex with seemed happy and healthy, but he did talk about how some girls smelled bad and he said I looked healthy as if he was suprised. He also took asprin a lot and acted like he really needed it. I assumed he had sore muscles from work. He came to town with no family and said he couldn't go back, but didn't explain why. He has been in prison, but didn't explain that either. He disappeared, basically when I told him I had stomach cramps. I realized he was a liar and didn't bother asking him questions because he would lie anyway, so I left him alone. Now, I am sitting here hoping I didn't expose myself to HIV.

So, I was tested about 10 days after the first sexual encounter.  It's been 1 week since I was tested.

This morning, I woke up with a lot of pain deep in my throat.  I was dreaming I was in the ER looking for my doctor.

My questions are:

Could garderella get in my throat?

Does it sound like I had gonorrhea in my throat but not in my vagina?

Does either one make urine darker?

Can I expect the cramping and bloating to go away soon?

I was given a blood test when tested... does this clear me from everything except HIV?

And should I be worried about HIV?

I just want to add that I am so thankful for the helpful doctors out there (and antibiotics!) and I hope that people try more to educate their children and the public about STDs because it's really sad the way this happens to people! It sure changed my way of thinking and definately changed my opinion about condoms!!!  I have a child and I hope this never happens to him!

"A world full of soul-sucking liars and cheats." What kind of statemen is this. You made this choice to have unprotected sex, it seems like you are trying to pass this off as not your responsibility but his.

OK, so just an update for anyone who cares.  The first night of unprotected sex was on May 31st and on the 21st of June, I found a red sore in my pubic area. That's like EXACTLY 21 days (which is average for syphillis sores!) So, I was sure I had syphillis because I was relating the feelings in my body to the damage syphillis eventually does. I went to the doctor AGAIN and took blood tests. EVERYTHING was negative. And even though it has been around 18 days since my last unprotected sex (or sex at all), he basically told me not to worry. This morning, I squeezed the sore and it eventually broke open in a tiny spot and I spent a good amount of time squeezing blood from it and soaking the blood up with toilet paper.
So...  my doctors must be annoyed by me. I felt like an idiot. But, I'm thankful. Here I am again telling myself how I GOT LUCKY after having risky sex. Yes, I GOT LUCKY because the only thing I walked away with was gardnerella.  (what kind of world are we living in?? A world full of soul-sucking liars and cheats.)

After I had the oral sex with him, I gagged a lot when brushing my teeth and felt like I could vomit. My gums back where my wisdom teeth are to come in were sore. I suppose that has gotten a little better. The stuff in my throat seems to have cleared up, but it's sore deeper in the throat now, it does hurt when I swallow, and it feels like there is a sore lump somewhere down my throat.(or a bruise or cut) My urine isn't dark anymore, but it smells musty or ammonia-like. This morning, I hacked up something bloody.(just like a chunk with blood in it) I don't have pinkish discharge anymore that I have seen. My muscles feel a bit sore, but I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Last night, I got a really bad headache for about a half hour and today, I had a piercing headache for a short time.
Well, since my primary doctor didn't swab my throat, I don't know where to go. Where I live, there is no STD clinic nearby. I don't know where I can go. I need a new doctor. There is no urgent care facility either. I could go to the ER, but I don't know that I would be welcome there. When I had my first visit, she didn't swab my throat either! She told me it could be gonnorhea after I told her it was sore, but still no swab for my throat!!

Well, it seems like the junk in my throat is clearing up. My primary doc didn't take a swab sample because she thought if it was gonnorhea, the first antibiotics should have taken care of that.  She did seem shocked when she saw my throat, but still didn't do anything else.  I have had strep throat before, but what I have now does not hurt when I swallow; it feels different than anything I have ever had. I am assuming I contracted it from the oral sex.

This may be off the subject, but the same doc also told me (after I went in 8 months ago concerned about a lump on my cervix) I basically had something fluid-filled that was harmless and should have cleared up within a month, but it is still there.
I'm thinking I should switch doctors and see a gynocologist...  right?  :~\

I removed your other post. please read our read before posting post on this forum for the basic rules of the forum -thanks!

you could have an oral std or you could have strep throat. best to get a proper throat culture done at this point.

most of your std testing was done too early.  You need to wait to repeat your syphilis testing 6 weeks post encounter and herpes and hiv testing 3 months post encounter. I'd also wait a week and if you still have vaginal discharge, return for repeat testing of that too.
