Gonnorhea wont clear up!

Hi long story short I met a girl in party 4 months back, we had unprotected oral and protected vaginal sex. After 2 months or so I suddenly felt my left testicle in pain, i tested positive for gonnorhea and got prescribed a 10 days antibiotics, the pain goes away around the 3rd day but it came back on the 9th just when im about to finish the entire meds..... when i came back to my urologist about 2 weeks after (was out of town) the dr said the infection is still there (i got urine and swab test) and he prescribed me the same antibiotics again.. only this time he gave me 15 days worth of doxycycline i believe...

The problem is lately I feel my joints are a bit sore and its not constant in one but keep moving from knee to wrist and whatnot, I also feel my hand become rather stiff and now im on the 8th day on my second antibiotic course i suddenly felt burning pain on the tip of my penis for the last 2 nights (only at night)
a. Im worried I got a DGI?
b. Is the treatment incorrect? I tried to explain my symptoms but the doctor just dismissed it and only look at the lab result..
Please help.. thanks

There is a problem with antibiotic resistant gonorrhea right now.  I recommend getting treated until it clears.

Hi Isle39, yeah I've googled and came across it too, that's why im concerned that he never give me any injection but only 4 oral antibiotics, I got UTI too so maybe thats why he prescribed it.. Anyway I'm going to meet the doctor for check up today and see if the test still came out positive. Thanks for the reply

Im also concerned about getting the arthritis (DGI) does the pain came and go? I got joint pain thats sporadic and my hands is kinda stiff now.. i typed a lot so I noticed it...If he still doesnt listen to my complaint I really have to change doctor I guess..
