HPV vaccine to protect men throat cancer

I saw a response from one of the MD's stating that straight men have little cancer risk from HPV.  However, there has a been a lot of press about straight men getting throat cancer as a result of HPV (I presume from having oral with females who are infected).

I just wanted further clarification.  thank you very much

Who'd a thought you could get cancer from having sex.

Thankfully there's a vaccine and testing options.

Be safe out there everyone.

yes you can get oral cancers from hpv.

Yes they are finding that the same strains that infect the genital area and cause genital cancers are also causing oral cancers.

yes, oral sex is how you would get them.
