Once you are 14 years of age in most states, you have the right to medical privacy. If you are on your parents insurance, give the insurance company a call and discuss your need for privacy with them to make sure that a statement of benefits doesn't go out to your parents. No idea of your age but since now "children" can stay on their parents insurance until age 26, this is something that they are used to dealing with. Lots of things you might have to be seen for that you don't want mom and pop knowing about!!!
There are many options for std testing. You can look up your local health departments online to see where your closest std testing center is. They typically do not offer type specific herpes igg blood testing though so to cover that base, you'll need to go elsewhere. You also can usually get tested in most states through online std testing sites. You pay them via credit card and go to your nearest testing site to have the testing done. You can get tested through your regular doctor too and make it cheaper potentially by running it through your insurance too.
