Healthy But Worried

About 4 weeks back while travelling in Asia, I had unprotected sex & few days later a massage at a not very clean place. After that I started getting mild etching all over my body though it seems more like dry skin because there are no rashes, blisters, bumps or sores anywhere. Since I was overly worried I started taking antibiotics (a course of 250mg Ciprofloxacin & followed by trimoxazole)

The mild etching is still persisting and lately I am feeling somewhat weak, dry/bruning eyes with mild dizziness/fatigue but no fever.

I am afraid of visiting my primary physician since the doctor is well known to my family and my insurance company requires me to visit my PCP first.

What could be the problem?

- A worried guy.

I don't know, but you have done yourself no favors by taking meds first.  You need to wait 2 weeks after taking the last pill, and then test.

You can always go to an std clinic if you don't want to go to your regular doctor, though your doctor is required by law to keep your medical stuff confidential, and if he doesn't, he's on the fast track to get his license revoked.

There is no std that would cause dizziness, by the way.  Perhaps you have mono or something.
