I had this same fear last summer it haunted me for ages, I found 4 dots by the hea dof my penis red scabbish like though the doc said it was ingrown hairs. They are yet to reappear. Though, your's is a burning sensation it is possible herpes mine had no pain in about 2 months I would get a HIV test to be safe, also syphilis. Though, I believe worst case is herpes, herpes is for life though, it does get much better the health nurse told me also eventually recurrent episodes seize to exist after about 2 years just be careful not to cross contaminate by your hand then touching your eyes or nose or ears because worse conditions may occur. If you touch your penis wash your hands especially during an outbreak. Herpes can only pass through mucus membranes such as eyelids or penis skin, hands are fine unless deep cuts or hang nails.

Good luck, I know how your feeling right now

Thanks for your help! Tested for:gon. Chlymadia. Syphilis. HIV. Uti. All neg.  Although docs do not believe HSV that is my main concern  since combination of prostate infection and fungal/yeast seems unlikely.  Tried lamisil (fungal treatment) rash appeared to spread to foreskin.  Trying miconazole (yeast treatment) now. Also trying hydrocortisone on different area to see if results are different. Advice is much appreciated. Thanks

Well it leaves you for a risk for every STD. What did you test for and how long after?

Symptoms do not seem to be related to a STD, maybe fungial or yeast.
