Question about oral STD

I have a question regarding oral gonnoreah/chylmydia. I understand chances of a man catching either of these from cunnilingus is very slim correct?
If a guy did have one of these in his throat, would the infection stay in the throat, or would it also spread to his genitals? Can't seem to find any threads on this.

I've read if it gets into the blood stream is can cause problems elsewhere. Can it get into the bloodstream from the throat?
