I’m afraid I may have contracted something incurable.

I had a possible exposure (unprotected sex) early February which was my first encounter outside a 5 years monogamous relationship and I trusted this guy, worst mistake of my life..Have had every ARS symptom in the book, you name it ( fatigue, hives, ringing in the ears, shortness of breath, tingling sensation) except sore throat and lymph nodes.

All symptoms never came at once, symptoms came each and every day but never at once
Had a red flat pot under skin which doesn’t itch exactly 3 months  post possible exposure which compelled me to go in for hiv tesing at 96days.

3rd generation test for antibodies was used and results came back negative but I’m finding it very difficult to believe my test was conclusive and I didn’t contract the virus.

The rashes flare up every now and then with itching as well as burning sensation all over body and I have had canker sores twice in 6 months and also small pimples on buttocks and inner thighs.

I have never felt okay since my possible exposure and now I’m worried abt other STD’s

I forgot to add a had a red spot in my right palm like a month ago which is still there

1) Is my HIV test conclusive?
2)Are my symptoms indications of HIV?
3? What other STD’s can’t cause these kind of symptoms pls?

None of your systems sound like std symptoms. Symptoms would be lesions, discharge, frequent urination, painful urination. Your HIV test was conclusive, and a one time HIV exposure has a transfer chance of roughly .08 percent to 2 percent depending on many factors. Every hiv professional will tell you that you cannot go off of symptoms to diagnose hiv

Other stds would be more likely like bacterial infections or like gono or clymidia due to the much higher transmission rates and the fact that they are much more common.

Because you had a unprotected exposure I’d recommend you have testing completed to ensure your sexual health.
