Is it possible that my friend with benefits has chlamydia?

He was telling me this story, about how he had unprotected sex with a girl who has chlamydia. According to him, the girl had chlamydia in her mouth, and she gave him oral sex, and then they switched from oral to regular vaginal penetrative sex. (Neither him or her knew she had chlamydia until afterwards.) After she told him, he said he went to the doctor and got tested as soon as he could, and they told him his results were negative and that he didn't have chlamydia, and that he had somehow "passed it like a baton, from her mouth to her vagina" and therefore he's "clean, even though he really should have it" (his words). I'm not sure if he ever got tested again, I'm going to ask him next time I see him in person. Is this even possible though? Could he be lying about not having it just to get me to engage in sexual activities with him? Or could it be possible that even though his results supposedly came back negative, that he has it? I'm a virgin so I'm just really worried about my first sexual encounter(s) ending up in me contracting chlamydia. Thanks for any help!

Well he could have been tested too early, doubtfull, but in the realm of possible. I've been treated for it twice, the first time they didn't even test because they said if I had unprotected sex wit the girl who came up positive I probably had it, so they just treated me for it. The second when my ex gave it to me, the doc said the same thing but tested and treated and results came back positive. If he was never treated for it but had an encounter with a girl he knew had it during their encounter (after the fact though) and passed it to her vagina I would assume they would have found something but I am no doctor. Just my experience, wait till 7 days after the encounter and get tested, it's free at most planned parenthood type clinics and only takes a urine sample, you can't pee for two hours before to get the best results, usually only two pills you have to take and abstain from sex for a week. Just remember to always use a condom, they are affective at REDUCING the risk for all stds, and very good against clamydia!
