Itch but no rash

So I am having an itch in my perineum that will itch like crazy then go away shortly after and dry out, like if nothing is wrong. I don't see any kind of redness  or blemishes on the skin so it is hard to tell what exactly what it is. I have had the same thing spread to the back of my ear as well. I am sexually active or does this have something this have something to do with maybe a sweat thing. Thank you.

Hi, general itching in the genital area is not a symptom of any std but could be fungal related. A herpes outbreak could itch but what your describing does not appear herpes related. If your concerned see a doctor or talk to a pharmasist about some OTC anti itch or fungal cream. Be careful about scratching it with dirty fingers as could become cronic.

Skin itching, by itself, isn't an STD symptom.  No worries about STD if itching is all you have.
