Need Doctors Opinion

On a business trip I had unprotected vaginal intercourse with a woman that I met at the same conference. We talked after for a little, but it was a one night stand.  About a month and a haf later I had extreme itching in my genitals that went away after two weeks.  A few weeks later I because tired, had a lump in my throat and loss of appetite.  I started to get scared.  So I called her and hounded her for weeks.  She said she gets tested every year at her obgyn in Novemeber and had a test after the experiecne.  I still didnt believe her.  Then I got diareaha and loose stools. So did research and decided to get tested.  I waited 98 grueling days and got tested.  My labcorp result came back hiv 1/2 nonreactive hsv 1/2 negative and rpr nonreactive. I thought it was over.  The doctor told me it was anxiety. Gave me paroxitene.  This morning woke up with slight fever.

1.) Is one hiv antibidy test at three months all I need or should I test again?

3 months is conclusive. Sounds like the anxiety weakened your immune system a bit and you picked up some kind of garden variety bug. Cold or flu. It is the season and the flu is widespread in every state of the union. Its really bad for the flu right now.

Nope, that's all you need.  Maybe you have the flu?
