Open sore

I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend recently.  She hasn't trimmed down there for a bit and the long hair irritated the side of my penis while we were having sex.  the couple days after on the side of my shaft i noticed a couple spots that were an irritated pink color and also looked like an open sore, it appeared wet in the center of the sore.  The sores also itched a bit and as it healed became dry and the skin looked dry and crackly.  I refrained from having sex for a few days till it healed.  Once it seemed better i had sex with my lady, who since had trimmed, and it seemed fine... a little irritation but nothing bad.  A couple days later I masturbated with some lube and it irritated it again and that day the wet open sore came back.  I get tested regularly and i do not have genital herpes according to my tests.  This condition has happened to me while back, like 8 years ago.  Any ideas or thoughts what i am suffering from?

Yeah, actually it does sound like it could be herpes, but herpes can also look like jock itch, etc.

You need to see a doctor for an actual exam.

i found an online service that recomended me to a test facility.  I went to the facility and they took blood samples and sent them out and when i called to check the results they said i didnt have genital herpes.

I think the lube i used irritated it more, I'm gonna see my DR and stop all sexual activity till i get it cleared up

How were you tested for herpes?  You should check and make sure that was included - it most often isn't, even if you ask for "everything."

If its not herpes, I'd wonder if its an allergic reaction to something, or if the lube irritated already irritated skin.  It sounds like you need to see your doctor.
