Oral Chlamydia

I was just diagnosed with Chlamydia. I was showing signs such as cramping, discharge, slight temp but what made me go get checked up was the sore throat, stiff neck and trouble swallowing. I heard there was a thing called oral Chlamydia i was wondering if you could tell me the symptoms. Also if i had unprotected sex and oral sex with a man two weeks ago, just developed the symptoms earlier this week could he be the culprit?????

Signs of oral Chlamydia  are sore throat and throat infection. Hard to say because unless you had a Std panel before and it was negative, you could have had it before and just now start showing signs of the infection...

If you've had more then one unprotected sexual encounter then it could have been someone else as symptoms do not always appear as quickly.

Oral transmition is an extremely low risk, it is more likely from an unprotected penetration encounter... you need to let you past partners with in the past 6montsh know about this so they may get tested and treated.

You also want to return to your doc. to have them check you for PID.
