Prostatitis is very common and treatable. HIV is very uncommon. I am glad you have been tested . For my curiosity what do the letters FBL stand for. In my experience this is an abreviation for the Ferritin Bound Leukocyte test, which is an esoteric test for breast cancer.  Continue to follow your Doctor`s advice. Take care..

I don't really know anything about prostatisis but if you had an exposure and worried about HIV that led you to test 9 months after the exposure and the test came back negative then you can be sure that you don't have HIV.

If you tested negative for HIV then you are in the clear. 9 months after the exposure is a very reliable time frame for test results. You are good.
